Rods and rings

Rods and Rings (R&R) are a cytoplasmic structure, that is present at low levels in human cell lines. The function of R&R remains to be revealed.

Immunofluorescent staining

R&R appear as a fibrous and/or rod-like staining in the cytoplasm. They vary a lot in their size from very small to stretching out over long distances in the cell.
