Malignant cells showed generally moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Renal tumors often showed distinct staining of membranes and nuclei in addition to cytoplasmic positivity.
A majority of malignancies displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Moderate to strong granular cytoplasmic staining was observed in most adenocarcinomas, liver cancer, malignant melanomas and lymphomas while renal cancers were generally negative.
