Cancers cells displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity with additional nuclear staining in several cases. Several renal, gastric and lung cancers were negative.
Most cancers displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic and nuclear staining that in a few cases was combined with membranous positivity. Strong staining was observed in isolated cases of urothelial cancers. Several cases of carcinoids, melanomas, testicular and liver cancers were negative.
Prostate cancers showed moderate to strong staining while several lymphomas, colorectal, breast, endometrial and testis cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Most of the remaining cancers were weakly stained or negative.
