Several cases of colorectal cancers showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic and membranous staining. A few cases of duct carcinoma of breast, hepatocellular carcinoma and ovarian cancers displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining. Remaining cancer cells were mainly negative.
Moderate to strong membranous positivity was observed in colorectal cancers along with few cases of cervical, testicular and pancreatic cancers. Occasional cases of thyroid, ovarian, skin, breast and stomach cancers were moderately positive. Moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining was displayed by malignant lymphomas. Remaining cancer tissues were weakly stained or negative.

Entrez gene summary
This locus represents naturally occurring read-through transcription between the neighboring CORO7 (coronin 7) and PAM16 (presequence translocase-associated motor 16) genes on chromosome 16. The read-through transcript encodes a fusion protein that shares sequence identity with each individual gene product. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2011]
