Normal tissues showed moderate cytoplasmic staining which often had a granular pattern. Respiratory epithelia, lung, breast, salivary gland, thyroid, trophoblastic cells, seminiferus duct cells, heart and subsets of cells in bone marrow displayed strong positivity.

Most normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Distal renal tubules, alveolar macrophages, subsets of seminiferus duct cells, upper stomach and neurons in cerebral cortex were strongly stained. Squamous epithelial cells, bile ducts and smooth muscle were negative.
