Most of the normal cells showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity, often with a granular pattern and additional membranous staining in some cases. Alveolar cells, endothelial cells and smooth muscle cells displayed strong staining. Cells of the CNS, prostate and urothelium were negative.
