The majority of normal tissues showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Alveolar cells, bile duct cells, renal glomeruli and most cells in CNS were weakly stained or negative.

Hepatocytes and subtypes of endocrine cells, e.g. the parathyroid displayed strong immunoreactivity. Moderate positivity was observed in a number of glandular cells while remaining cell types were mainly negative. The kidney showed differences between proximal and distal tubules and ductal cells in salivary gland were stronger than glandular cells.
