A majority of the normal cells showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity which in cases was combined with nuclear staining. Gallbladder, adrenal cortex, renal tubules and Purkinje cells were strongly stained. The lung, pancreatic islets, glial cells and most cells in lymphoid tissues were negative.

Exocrine pancreas and renal tubules displayed strong cytoplasmic positivity. Fractions of cells in the small intestine, adrenal cortex, thyroid gland and neurons were moderately stained. A subset of cells in seminiferous ducts showed strong cytoplasmic and nuclear staining. Remaining normal cells were in general weakly stained or negative.
