Few cases of papillary adenocarcinomas of thyroid, colorectal, stomach, liver, lung, urothelial and renal cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic staining. Remaining cancer tissues were weakly stained or negative.
Cancer tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining. Several cases of colorectal, pancreatic cancers along with few cases of endometrial, stomach and testis cancers showed additional membranous positivity.
Several gliomas, melanomas and urothelial cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. The remaining cancer tissues were generally negative.

Description
NAD synthetase 1 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) is a coenzyme in metabolic redox reactions, a precursor for several cell signaling molecules, and a substrate for protein posttranslational modifications. NAD synthetase (EC 6.3.5.1) catalyzes the final step in the biosynthesis of NAD from nicotinic acid adenine dinucleotide (NaAD).[supplied by OMIM, Apr 2004]
