Most cancer tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining, often seen with a granular pattern. Thyroid cancers along with few cases of colorectal cancers and a single case each of melanoma and prostate cancers displayed strong positivity. Skin and renal cancers were mainly negative.
Carcinoids along with several melanomas, gliomas, few prostate and testis cancers showed moderate nuclear and cytoplasmic positivity. Other cancer tissues were generally negative.
