A few cases of ovarian, breast and endometrial cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. The remaining malignancies were weakly stained or negative.
Most malignant cells showed weak to moderate immunoreactivity. A few cases of strong positivity was observed in malignant melanoma, colorectal, urothelial and testicular cancers. Several cases of malignant gliomas, renal and liver cancers were negative.

Description
ATP-binding cassette, sub-family F (GCN20), member 2 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene encodes a member of the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter superfamily. ATP-binding casette proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. Alterations in this gene may be involved in cancer progression. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Related pseudogenes have been identified on chromosomes 3 and 7.
