Melanomas, gliomas, endometrial and thyroid cancers along with a few cases of squamous cell carcinomas, ovarian, urothelial and renal cancers exhibited moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Remaining cancers were negative.
Most cancer tissues showed weak to moderate nuclear positivity. Several prostate and lung cancers were negative.
GENE INFORMATION
Gene name
ZNF280C (HGNC Symbol)
Synonyms
FLJ20095, SUHW3, ZNF633
Description
Zinc finger protein 280C (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene encodes a member of the zinc finger domain-containing protein family. This family member contains multiple Cys2-His2(C2H2)-type zinc finger domains, the most common type of zinc finger domain that self-folds to form a beta-beta-alpha structure that binds a zinc ion.
