A majority of normal tissues displayed moderate cytoplasmic and nuclear positivity. Strong staining was observed in the adrenal gland, duodenum, colon and subsets of neuronal cells.

Most normal cells displayed moderate nuclear staining combined with cytoplasmic positivity in several cases. Gastric parietal cells, rectum and the thyroid gland showed strong cytoplasmic staining while the adrenal gland, glial cells in CNS and placental cells displayed distinct nuclear immunoreactivity.
