Strong cytoplasmic positivity was observed in liver, while small intestine, smooth muscle and connective tissues, as well as a subset of cells in renal glomeruli were moderately stained. Essentially all other normal tissues were negative.

Most normal tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity with additional nuclear/membranous staining in few. Decidual cells showed strong cytoplasmic staining while few glandular cells in stomach showed strong cytoplasmic and membranous immunoreactivity. Lymphoid tissues, liver, uterine cervix, trophoblastic cells, islets of Langerhans, urothelium, fallopian tubes, salivary glands and renal glomeruli were generally negative.
