Most normal cells were either negative or showed weak nuclear and/or cytoplasmic positivity. Moderate staining was seen in hepatocytes, pancreas, prostate, epididymis, decidual cells of placenta and neuronal cells of CNS.

Nuclear staining of moderate to strong intensity was found in most normal tissues, with strongest staining observed in granular layer of cerebellum, exocrine pancreas and some other glandular epithelia. Squamous epithelia only stained basal cell layers. In placenta cytotrophoblasts showed positivity, while syncytiotrophoblasts were negative. Some neuronal cells had positivity also in cytoplasm.
