Most tumour tissues showed weak to moderate granular cytoplasmic positivity. Many testis, colon, few breast, endometrium, stomach cancers and melanomas displayed strong immunoreactivity. Several renal, cervical, few skin and urothelial cancers were weakly stained or negative.
Squamous and basal cell carcinomas along with several cases of colorectal and pancreatic cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic and membranous immunoreactivity. Remaining cancer tissues were generally negative.

TTC21B (HGNC Symbol)
Synonyms
FLJ11457, IFT139B, JBTS11, NPHP12, THM1
Description
Tetratricopeptide repeat domain 21B (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene encodes a member of TTC21 family, containing several tetratricopeptide repeat (TPR) domains. This protein is localized to the cilium axoneme, and may play a role in retrograde intraflagellar transport in cilia. Mutations in this gene are associated with various ciliopathies, nephronophthisis 12, and asphyxiating thoracic dystrophy 4. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011]
