Most of the normal tissues displayed weak to moderate nuclear and/or cytoplasmic positivity. Strong staining was observed in neuronal cells in cerebral cortex and Purkinje cells. The lung, bile ducts, skin, urothelium, glial cells and lymphoid tissues were negative.

Distinct staining was observed in cerebellar neuropil and the cytoplasm of cells in salivary gland. Urothelium, bronchus, gall bladder, cervix and the intestine exhibited moderate cytoplasmic staining. Additional nuclear positivity was observed in some tissues including the CNS. Remaining normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.
