Weak to moderate nuclear immunoreactivity was seen in tumor tissues. Few cases of testicular, urothelial and squamous cell carcinomas were strongly positive. Several cases of liver and renal cancers were negative.
Cancer tissues exhibited moderate nuclear immunoreactivity which occasionally was accompanied with cytoplasmic staining. Most gliomas and cases of carcinoids, lymphomas, colorectal and renal cancers showed strong staining.

Description
RecQ helicase-like 4 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a DNA helicase that belongs to the RecQ helicase family. DNA helicases unwind double-stranded DNA into single-stranded DNAs and may modulate chromosome segregation. This gene is predominantly expressed in thymus and testis. Mutations in this gene are associated with Rothmund-Thomson, RAPADILINO and Baller-Gerold syndromes. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2010]
