Distinct membranous and occasional cytoplasmic immunoreactivity was observed in proximal renal tubuli, seminiferus duct cells, the parathyroid gland, trophoblasts, pancreatic islet cells and basal cells in squamous epithelia. Vessels in the CNS stained strongly. Remaining normal cells were in general negative.

The parathyroid gland, pancreatic islet cells, seminiferous duct cells, proximal renal tubules and the basal layer in squamous epithelia showed distinct cytoplasmic and membranous immunoreactivity. Parts of the intestine and subsets of cells in lymphoid tissue showed moderate membranous staining. Normal tissues in general displayed weak positivity or were negative.
