A rare case of carcinoid showed strong cytoplasmic staining. A few cases of testis and pancreatic cancers showed weak to moderate nuclear immunoreactivity. Remaining cancer tissues were weakly stained or negative.
Follicular adenoma carcinoma of thyroid showed strong cytoplasmic and membranous positivity. Moderate granular cytoplasmic staining was observed in several cases of prostate cancers and melanomas. Remaining caner tissues were mainly negative.

Description
Thrombospondin-type laminin G domain and EAR repeats (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene encodes a protein that contains a N-terminal thrombospondin-type laminin G domain and several tandem arranged epilepsy-associated repeats (EARs). A mutation in this gene is the cause of autosomal recessive deafness-98. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2012]
