A majority of normal tissues displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Lymphoid tissues and cells of the CNS were in general weakly stained or negative. Strongest positivity was observed in pancreatic islets, decidual cells and cells of the male genital tract.

In normal tissues moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining was noticed primarily in glandular and endocrine related cells. The staining was less intense in squamous epithelia and in mesenchymal cells. Plasma cells were strongly positive.
