Moderate to strong, partly granular, cytoplasmic positivity was found mainly in glandular cells of the gastrointestinal tract, distal tubules of the kidney and liver hepatocytes. Moderate granular immunoreactivity was also evident in neuronal cells in the brain, follicle center cells in lymphoid tissue and myocytes from heart and skeletal muscle. In prostate glands, basal cells were positive. Remaining normal cells were weakly stained or negative.
