Most normal tissues displayed cytoplasmic staining of weak to moderate intensity, often only in a fraction of the cells. In proximal tubules of kidney, strong staining of luminal membranes was observed, in a few cells accompanied with nuclear positivity. Prostate showed strong immunoreactivity of both cytoplasm and nuclei. Distinct extra-cellular positivity inside lumina was common. Cells of CNS were negative.

Hepatocytes, melanocytes, adipocytes and a subset of cells in seminal vesicle and the neuronal cells of cerebral cortex showed moderate cytoplasmic staining. Fibroblasts and a subset of decidual cells exhibited strong positivity. Remaining normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.
