Fraction of cells in majority of cancer tissues showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Carcinoids, liver and prostate cancers along with several renal cell carcinomas and gliomas were negative.
Strong cytoplasmic positivity in a small fraction of malignant cells in most malignancies present were observed. Carcioids, urothelial, renal, stomach, panctreatic and liver cancers were generally negative.
A majority of malignant tissues displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity of varying fraction.

Two alternative transcripts have been found, a constitutively expressed transcript and a cell cycle-regulated transcript, that is expressed predominantly during G2/M phase.
