Oocytes, secondary spermatocytes and spermatids demonstrated distinct cytoplasmic expression. Upper airway epithelium and a subset of cells in fallopian tube displayed strong membranous positivity. Moderate cytoplasmic positivity was observed in neuronal cells of the cerebral cortex and hippocampus. Ganglion cells in the enteric nerve plexa also demonstrated moderate cytoplasmic staining. The remaining normal tissues were negative.
