Malignant tissues displayed granular cytoplasmic staining in most cases. Intensity was varying between weak and strong. Several cases of prostate cancers showed strong immunoreactivity. Squamous cell carcinomas of the skin were generally weaker stained than basal cell carcinomas.
Moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining was seen in most malignant tissues. Staining pattern was granular and strongest staining was seen in colorectal carcinomas and in malignant melanomas. Malignant lymphomas, renal and testicular cancers were weakest stained.

Synonyms
MGC3195, SVH
Description
Armadillo repeat containing 10 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene encodes a protein that contains an armadillo repeat and transmembrane domain. The encoded protein decreases the transcriptional activity of the tumor suppressor protein p53 through direct interaction with the DNA-binding domain of p53, and may play a role in cell growth and survival. Upregulation of this gene may play a role in hepatocellular carcinoma. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene, and a pseudogene of this gene is located on the long arm of chromosome 3.
